Shantiniketan is a town near Bholpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, India. It's internationally renowned as a cultural and educational hub, primarily due to its association with Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel Laureate poet and philosopher. Debendranath Tagore, Rabindranath’s father, established Shantiniketan in 1863 as a spiritual retreat. Rabindranath later developed it into an experimental school and, eventually, a university.

A mind blowing environment. As we stepped into it we started feeling a sense of peace & seclusion. A harmonious balance between nature & luxury. 'Kopai' river is adjacent, dried up though but the 'peace' as the meaning of 'Shaanti' is literally everywhere here.. Every cottage has its own wonderful identity with modern amenities, warm & friendly hospitality. A perfect destination for a relaxing getaway .
We went there with a few of our friends. It's a nice quiet place in Prantik of Shantiniketan. A holiday can be spent well with family or friends. Some cottages provide swimming pools also. We visited Sonajhuri hat as a memorable part of Shantiniketan.
It is a nice place to taste the luxury of a good home in the midst of the rustic setting of the Kopai River. Good canteen facility.
An excellent place to spend with your family and loved ones! Room rents are affordable and cheap compared to the rest..
This is extremely nice and beautiful place. Room service is very good. This Kopa Ville is 0.5 km from the main road.
